Overhead Tank Cleaning (1001L - 2000L)

Cleaning an overhead tank of medium size (1001L - 2000L) involves meticulous steps to ensure cleanliness and safe water storage:

1. Emptying: Begin by draining the tank completely to remove all water and sediment buildup.

2. Scrubbing: Thoroughly scrub the interior surfaces of the tank using appropriate cleaning agents and brushes. This process helps dislodge any dirt, algae, or scale deposits that may have accumulated.

3. Rinsing: After scrubbing, rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water multiple times to remove loosened debris and residual cleaning agents.

4. Disinfection: Apply a disinfectant solution to sanitize the tank. Proper disinfection is essential to eliminate harmful bacteria and prevent microbial growth. Allow the disinfectant to sit for the recommended contact time.

5. Final Rinse: Rinse the tank again with clean water to remove the disinfectant and ensure no chemicals remain.

6. Drying: Allow the tank to dry completely before refilling. Adequate drying prevents bacterial regrowth and ensures water quality.

7. Inspection: Conduct a thorough inspection of the tank for any signs of damage or corrosion. Address any issues promptly to maintain tank integrity.

8. Refilling: Once cleaned, sanitized, and inspected, refill the tank with clean water from a reliable source.

9. Maintenance: Implement a regular cleaning schedule to ensure the tank remains clean and operational for safe water storage.

By following these steps, you ensure that your medium-sized overhead tank (1001L - 2000L) is effectively cleaned, sanitized, and ready to provide clean water for residential or commercial use.
